Kinetic

The variable grey tones are like a never-ending night and maybe the kinetic light represents the day in my abstract and minimalist animation work. As though, day stuck in the darkness of the night. This is a bit claustrophobic and also chaotic.

The Game

Mardin is an ancient city of Mesopotamia Coombe and nearest to the border of Syria. The city is established above the hill and some border villages can be viewed from. The civil war in Syria has been effective economically as well as socially in southeastern Anatolia because of the affective commitment between the peoples. Maybe someday, the children will establish peaceful World who share the pain.

Pose

The some of the visitors pose traditionally to camera in front of the beautiful landscape at the edge of a cliff and their humanly expressions are worth seeing. They are intimate with each other like destruction of their existence. I observed silently this event.

Finally, for the stronger message, they were stylized and isolated from the spatial reality in a digitally converted space where is intermittend between visual reality and virtual reality or life and death...

This video is dedicated to Roland Barthes.

Facial Perception

The "Facial Perception" is an art of self-portrait that I recorded when I had an ischemic stroke, which resulted in a loss of my physical sensibility, particularly on my face. In some sense, it is a reactive enacment fictionalized out of my body in the state of unconsciousness. This deep psychological mood includes a vicious cycle that, at the same time, is a search for regaining one's physical identity in a chaotic situation. This case is expressed by uncertainty in perception and rhythmic motions.
